MAISON MARGIELA
Tabi New Nappa Leather Ballerina Flats
The Maison introduces the Tabi new ballerinas made of nappa leather with a hand-painted treatment, inspired by archival ballerina shoes. Designed with handmade folds, the shoes showcase a vintage effect on the sides. The Tabi split-toe, inspired by the traditional Japanese sock from the 15th century, was launched for the Maison's 1989 debut collection. An iconic symbol of the Maison's avant-garde and rebellious spirit, it remains a timeless classic, ever-evolving with every collection.
